The cultivator is the all-rounder in the soil cultivation.
The cultivator is powerful and soil conserving as mixing working tool for stubble cultivation
For incorporating organic mass and the remaining residues at harvest the plough has long been detachted but it has not been entirely replaced by the cultivator. Regardless of the crop, even the use on corn stubble is quite a standard process through appropriate share systems and trailing tools. The plough does not go into action before sowing depending on previous crop as well as disease and pest pressure. The chisel cultivator is a further development to conventional cultivators for levelling and seedbed preparation.
The cultivator Terrakan is the light cultivator model of Regent – perfect for levelling plough clods, as second work step for chisel cultivators and to work fertilisers and manure into the soil. Chisel cultivators of Regent are offered with three or four beams. Additionally you can choose between rigid tines and a flexible “non-stop” tines suspension. These differ in a hydraulic damping and a spiral spring system. Significant for the correct mixing and reconsolidation of the soil are also the trailing tools. For a quick rotting process there should be guaranteed a loose and even working in of the crop residues.
Depth guidance with chisel cultivator
The first crossing over the stubbles should be made with a preferably flat working depth, that is also favourable for a quick germination for volunteer grain. For working in rotting straw and regrowth the following applies: 8-12 cm and 18-22 cm working depth for the basic soil cultivation.
Light Cultivator Terrakan
The Regent Terrakan is perfectly equipped with spring tines and trailing roller to mix-in organic mass and to level cloddy soils before sowing.
