Set-up seeding technology from Regent for the perfect seeding

Seeding technology has developed significantly in the recent years. Key factors are high impact, easy access for filling the seed hopper, easy adjustment of the quantity of seed as well as the system of shares. The seeding combination in form of seeding technology with set-up drilling pushed through. Distinguished can be mainly in grain distribution and output. For the Seedstar RSM Regent sets on mechanically driven dosing and distribution.

Requirements on the Set-Up Seed Drill

In General: an equal distribution and depth deposit of the grain is the base for a good yield. Also at most diverse soil types and conditions the drilling technology has to guarantee an homogeneous and reliable sowing. Therefore the share system and the possible pressure on the shares as well as the technology for distribution of the grain to the whole working width play a key role. At Regent the proven VARIO-gear with a cam and lever system goes into action. The decisive factor is the construction of the entire machine: the hopper should be positioned  as far as possible to the tractor. This is how unnecessary lifting capacity can be avoided and an easy access for filling the hopper and the calibration test is ensured.

The set-up seed drill Seedstar RSM is not only convincing through its compact construction, but also through its optimal access to the hopper and the exact seed Regulation. Furthermore the drive works with a 80 step gear or the stepless VARIO-gear.

The dosing unit of the seeding technology of Regent.

A combined seed wheel with two different ribs allows sowing of all sizes of seeds, without missing to change the seed wheel. Due to the different ribbed Surface it cares for highest accuracy. Only for fine seeds, the seed wheel must be changed.

The share system at Regent

At Regent you can choose between double disc coulter system and dragging coulters.
The double disc coulter system ensures that even on heavy soils, the seed is deposited at the correct depth. A rubber press wheel ensures the necessary ground connection.
Due to the good bottom feed and the slim design, the double disc coulter system from Regent is also perfectly suitable for mulch sowing. The disc coulter pressure is steplessly adjusted manually via a spindle (hydraulically optional). The Disc coulter pressure can be adjusted up to 35 kg contact pressure.
